Future Hits Live at the Arena di Verona

Launched in 2022, Radio Zeta Future Hits Live is presented as the "Festival della Generazione Zeta". Its format differs from a conventional headline concert: instead of focusing on one artist and a full set, the event features a large multi-artist line-up built around contemporary Italian music.

Verona has become an important part of that format. Future Hits Live first reached the Arena di Verona in 2023, when the festival expanded beyond its Rome date with a second event on 30 August. The show brought emerging performers and established names together on the same stage.

The festival subsequently returned to the Arena, reinforcing Verona's place in the Future Hits Live calendar.

The Most Recent Verona Edition

The latest Verona edition currently verified took place on 2 September 2025 at the Arena di Verona. That year's announced cast illustrates the variety audiences can expect from the Future Hits Live concept.

Artists announced for the show included Alfa, Anna, Artie 5ive, BigMama, Frah Quintale, Fulminacci, Levante, LDA, Naska, Nerissima Serpe, Noemi, Rocco Hunt, Sayf, Shablo, Tredici Pietro and Trigno, among others. radiozeta

The line-up is not fixed from year to year. Future editions can feature a substantially different selection of performers depending on the artists and songs prominent at the time, so no previous participant should be assumed to appear in a 2027 edition unless officially confirmed.

A Different Kind of Arena Show

The Arena di Verona is particularly suited to the scale of Future Hits Live. Rather than a traditional tour stop with one main performer, the event moves between multiple artists and short live appearances over the course of the show.

That gives audiences the opportunity to hear music from different parts of the contemporary Italian scene in a single event. Recent editions have mixed pop, rap, singer-songwriters and emerging acts, reflecting Radio Zeta's focus on younger audiences and new Italian music.

The setting adds another dimension. Located in Piazza Bra in the historic centre of Verona, the Roman amphitheatre is one of Italy's best-known open-air performance venues and hosts major concerts, opera productions and special events throughout its season.
