Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr. (born 18 August 1983), stage name Mika, is a Lebanese-born British creative singer.

After recording his first extended series ‘Dodgy Holiday’, Mika was named number one predicted breakout act in 2007 in the 2007 BBC Music Critics Annual Survey. Mika released his first full-length studio album, Life in Cartoon Motion, on Island Records in 2007, which sold over 5.6 million copies worldwide and helped Mika win the Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Performance — and was nominated for a Grammy. In January 2007, he reached number one on the UK Singles Chart with ‘Grace Kelly‘. He has since recorded four more studio albums (the most recent one is My Name Is Michael Holbrook, released in October 2019) and has served as a judge on The Voice in French and X Factor in Italian tutor. Mika also starred in his own TV variety show Stasera Casa Mika in Italy, which won the 2017 Golden Rose Award. On 2 February 2022, it was announced that Mika will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 alongside Laura Pausini and Alessandro Cattelan.
