The premises of the Verona Amphitheater
Arena di Verona is a Roman amphitheater that is located in the beautiful city of Verona, in Italy, famous for hosting every year, during the summer months, the best of opera, ballets and concerts. It is one of the best preserved Roman amphitheaters and looks like the majestic Roman Colosseum in Rome. For this reason, it is a great space for concerts and events.
Arena di Verona was built in 30 A.D. and there were events and games, also called “ludii”, with a capacity of around 30,000 people. Although Arena di Verona amphitheater was originally made of white and pink limestone, due to an earthquake in the year 1,117 and it had to be rebuilt during the Renaissance.
