Zucchero Verona Tickets 2027 – Blue’s 40th

Zucchero returns to the Arena di Verona in 2027 for Blue’s 40th, a special series of seven concerts celebrating four decades since the release of one of the defining albums of his career. The shows will take place on September 25, 26, 28 and 30, and October 2, 3 and 4, 2027, with performances scheduled for 21:00.

Verona has become closely associated with Zucchero’s live career, making the historic Arena a particularly fitting setting for this anniversary. Fans looking for Zucchero Verona tickets can check the available options for each date and choose their preferred concert and seating category.

Blue’s 40th at the Arena di Verona

Released on June 15, 1987, Blue’s marked an important turning point in Zucchero’s career and helped establish the combination of blues, soul, rock and Italian songwriting that became central to his sound.

The record includes songs such as “Con Le Mani,” “Dune Mosse,” “Senza Una Donna,” “Hey Man” and “Non Ti Sopporto Più.” Its musicians also reflected Zucchero’s increasingly international approach, with contributors including David Sancious, Clarence Clemons, Andrew Love and Wayne Jackson.

Forty years later, Blue’s provides the focus for these seven special Verona concerts. Rather than simply another stop on a conventional tour, the 2027 Arena dates have been announced specifically to mark the album's anniversary.

Zucchero at the Arena di Verona

Few artists have developed a connection with the Arena di Verona comparable to Zucchero. By the time these new concerts were announced, he had performed 66 shows at the amphitheatre, including a record run of 22 concerts within a twelve-month period between 2016 and 2017.

He later established another Arena record with 14 consecutive performances in 2022 and returned for another extended series of concerts in 2025. The venue has consequently become one of the recurring landmarks of his live career rather than simply another Italian concert location.

That history gives Blue’s 40th an additional dimension. The album being celebrated was crucial to Zucchero's artistic development, while the Arena has played a major role in the decades of live performances that followed.

From Blue’s to Zucchero’s Best-Known Songs

Although the anniversary places Blue’s at the centre of the project, Zucchero arrives in Verona with a catalogue built across four decades of international touring.

Songs including “Diamante,” “Diavolo in Me,” “Baila (Sexy Thing),” “X Colpa Di Chi?” and the internationally successful version of “Senza Una Donna (Without a Woman)” have become regular reference points in his career. Recent live projects have continued to combine material from different periods with his distinctive mix of blues, gospel, soul and rock.

The Verona concerts also follow another anniversary project in 2027: Zucchero is due to celebrate 25 years of “Baila (Sexy Thing)” with a major San Siro concert in Milan in June before returning to the Arena in September for the Blue’s celebrations.

Arena di Verona

The Roman amphitheatre in the centre of Verona provides a setting very different from a conventional indoor arena. Its open-air configuration and long history of large-scale music performances have made it one of Italy's most recognizable venues.

For Zucchero, however, the significance is also personal to his touring history. Multiple extended residencies and record-setting runs have turned the Arena into one of the venues most closely identified with his concerts.
